Connected systems. Shared understanding.

Security is an ongoing responsibility.

A reliable digital platform needs more than a successful launch. Technologies evolve, vulnerabilities emerge and operational requirements change.

We help organizations stay on top of these challenges through structured maintenance, careful development and long-term technical support.

  1. Security updates & maintenance

Keep frameworks, CMS platforms, libraries and dependencies current. We assess updates, address vulnerabilities and apply changes with appropriate testing to reduce unnecessary risk.

  2. Monitoring & incident coordination

Monitor availability and performance, identify issues early and establish clear procedures for escalation and technical incident support appropriate to the service.

  3. Backups & recovery

Plan for the unexpected with appropriate backup arrangements, restoration procedures and recovery planning. A dependable system should have a practical path back to normal operation.

  4. Controlled deployments

Reduce the risk of changes through development and staging environments, testing, deployment procedures and rollback planning suited to the platform.

  5. Application & infrastructure security

Look beyond the CMS. Applications, dependencies, APIs, hosting configurations and integrations all contribute to the security and reliability of a digital service.

  6. Documentation & accountability

Clear ownership and documented responsibilities help organizations maintain control over their systems and external suppliers. We can support customers with technical documentation and agreed operational procedures.

Services, security controls, monitoring, response times and recovery commitments depend on the agreed service scope. These capabilities are not automatically included in every agreement.

Beyond a single platform.

Different organizations need different technologies. Our approach starts with understanding the system, its dependencies and its operational requirements — not forcing every project into the same solution.

Custom systems & integrations

Supporting digital operational resilience under DORA.

The EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) has applied since 17 January 2025. It establishes requirements for how financial entities manage ICT risks, operational resilience and relationships with external ICT service providers.

For organizations such as credit rating agencies and other regulated financial businesses, dependable technology and well-managed supplier relationships are an important part of operational resilience.

As a digital development and maintenance partner, Accomplice can support the technical and operational side of these requirements.

Where we can help

Clear service responsibilities
Documenting the technical services provided, relevant systems, responsibilities and agreed operating arrangements.
Maintenance & security processes
Establishing appropriate procedures for software updates, vulnerability handling, platform monitoring and controlled changes.
Incident & continuity planning
Working with clients to define technical escalation, incident coordination, recovery expectations and continuity arrangements.
ICT supplier documentation
Providing relevant technical information to support supplier assessments, contractual discussions and ongoing oversight of the ICT services we deliver.

DORA compliance remains the responsibility of the regulated organization. Our role is to support its technical and operational requirements within an agreed service scope. Accomplice does not provide legal compliance certification.

A practical approach to long-term reliability.

Every platform has its own architecture, dependencies and risk profile. We start by understanding what matters and develop a maintenance approach around the actual needs of the organization.

  1. Understand

Review the existing platform, architecture, dependencies and operational requirements.

  2. Plan

Define a suitable maintenance approach, responsibilities, communication procedures and service expectations.

  3. Maintain

Carry out agreed updates, monitoring and technical maintenance with an emphasis on stability and security.

  4. Improve

Review technical needs as the platform evolves, address emerging risks and recommend improvements where they add value.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only maintain WordPress websites?

No. We work with WordPress, Drupal, React applications, server-side rendered platforms and custom backend systems. The right maintenance approach depends on the technology and the needs of the organization.

Can you take over an existing website or application?

Often, yes. We typically begin by reviewing the system, its dependencies, hosting arrangements and current maintenance setup before recommending the next steps.

Can Accomplice help our organization with DORA?

We can support the technical side of ICT service management, including relevant documentation, maintenance processes and agreed operational procedures. Your organization and its compliance advisers remain responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements and determining compliance.

Are all websites considered critical ICT services under DORA?

Not automatically. The significance of an ICT service depends on how the regulated organization uses it and the functions it supports. The regulated customer must make the relevant assessment. DORA-related contractual requirements may still apply to ICT services that do not support critical or important functions.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance and hosting?

Yes. We offer service agreements that can cover hosting, monitoring, updates, backups and technical support. The specific services and commitments are defined in the agreement.
