A digital hub for Swedish life science
Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) is one of the world’s leading research centres in life science, genetics, and molecular biology. As a national research infrastructure, SciLifeLab enables progress by providing advanced technologies and tools to researchers across Sweden. We were commissioned to modernize its website, improve the user experience, and make research resources and infrastructure easier to access.
The organization fosters collaboration between Swedish universities and interacts daily with more than 2,000 researchers, administrators, and decision-makers to advance research and innovation.
Our work covered the entire development cycle – from initial user interviews and content inventory to technical integrations with internal systems and APIs, while ensuring that the site was optimized for researchers and administrative staff alike.
Objectives
The goal was to create a user-friendly, intuitive website that would meet researchers’ needs while making it easier for SciLifeLab’s internal teams to administer and update content. To achieve this, we improved site performance and accessibility and strengthened its SEO strategy.
