From breakthrough chemistry to an industrial digital platform
Altris is building European sodium-ion battery technology from abundant materials. As the company moved from scientific innovation towards industrial partnerships and scalable products, its digital presence needed to make a complex offer feel clear, credible and ready for market.
Accomplice partnered with Altris across digital strategy, information architecture, UX and interface design, content direction, and custom WordPress development.
The new platform needed to connect products, applications, technical validation and company progress while giving each audience a direct route to the detail it needs.
A product story, not a science lecture
Altris brings together proprietary chemistry, industrial production, battery cells and a European supply chain. The challenge was to make these parts understandable without reducing the technical substance behind them.
We organised the platform around the questions its audiences actually have: What can Altris deliver? Where can the technology be used? What has been validated? How can it scale?
Proof built into the experience
Technical evidence became part of the design rather than supplementary material. Product models, validation data, pilot-line capacity, application scenarios and the European supply chain help visitors move from the larger proposition into the detail they need.
The result is a site that can speak to industrial partners, technical specialists, investors and future employees without forcing every audience through the same story.
Built to keep evolving
Behind the experience is a custom WordPress system made from reusable components. Altris can introduce products, publish technical material, develop new solution areas and share company news while keeping the experience coherent.
The platform presents Altris as it operates today: product-led, technically rigorous and built for scale.
