As part of Accomplice’s product development work, we created WP AI Forms to empower creators, developers, and site owners with a faster, safer, and more flexible way to manage forms in Gutenberg — without sacrificing customizability or technical control.
Traditional WordPress form builders often rely on complex drag-and-drop UIs, endless settings panels, and manual wiring of actions like email notifications, webhooks, and submission exports.
For many users — especially non-technical editors and clients — this creates friction, slows down workflows, and raises the risk of errors or misconfigurations.
We saw an opportunity to rewrite the UX entirely: instead of forcing users to “click through” builders, why not let them talk to the form?
Our Solution
With WP AI Forms, we built a Gutenberg-native AI form builder that lets users create and modify forms using natural language instructions. By describing the form they need — e.g., “Create a contact form with name, email, phone, and file upload, then send submissions to sales@…” — users get complete, production-ready forms instantly. All fields, layout, validation, and actions are generated automatically by AI.
